This is a very busy surgery but in my experience the receptionists are very helpful and professional and always do their best to help patients with appointments.

My family have been patients for over 20 years and we have watched the practice grow enormously in that time. Their latest upgrades of online appointments and self service appointment registration have been brilliant. We have used their online repeat prescription ordering system which only works if you don't have to order items via the notes section, as they do not read them. The nurses are friendly and help you to relax and having seen every doctor associated with the practice I can honestly say, that even when I am truly feeling anxious they always put me at ease.

Have been a patient for several years and have always found the attention I have received to be without fault. I prefer to see a particular Doctor but know that I will have to wait usually until the following week to see him. If it is urgent, then there is a new Doctor who is extremely kind and attentive. It can be embarrassing to unintentionally hear the Receptionists talking to patients on the telephone. Is there any way a Receptionist could be away from the front desk to answer the phone? Especially as now there is a patient self checking in system. It might also be helpful if the 'notice board' showed the waiting times for the more popular Doctors. I have known people who have to get back to work/pick up their children, etc. repeatedly ask how much longer before they are seen.

Thank you for your feedback; how long a patient waits in the waiting room before their appointment starts is something we are trying to improve on, it is a daily struggle but we are trying a few new ideas!! PM

Going through a very difficult time, not getting the help from my previous GP, my brother registered me with Stovell House Surgery. In the 2-3 years, I have only ever seen Dr Khan who has been nothing less than brilliant. He listens, is kind, caring, calming, non-judgemental and very patient. He has worked with me to get me back on my feet, back to work and back to a sense of normality, for which I will be eternally grateful. Thank you!
